By accessing or using CareerInstructor ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

These terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and subscribers.

CareerInstructor provides an AI-powered career coaching platform that includes:

- AI teacher-led mock interviews and coaching sessions
• Resume review and optimization tools
• Career roadmap generation and tracking
• Performance scorecards and analytics
• English speaking practice
• Adaptive learning memory

The platform is available via web and mobile applications. Features may vary between free and paid plans.

Registration: You must provide accurate, current information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.

Account Security: You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorized account access.

Age Requirement: You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use our services.

One Account Per User: Each user may only maintain one active account. Duplicate accounts may be terminated.

Free Plan: Basic features available at no cost, subject to usage limits.

Pro Plan: Paid subscription at the listed monthly price, billed monthly or annually. Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice.

Billing: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You authorize us to charge your payment method on file.

Refunds: We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on new Pro subscriptions. After 7 days, subscriptions are non-refundable but can be cancelled for the next billing cycle.

Enterprise Plans: Custom pricing and terms available upon request.

You agree NOT to:

- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the platform
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the platform
• Share, sell, or redistribute your account credentials
• Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful material
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform's servers or networks
• Use AI-generated content from our platform to misrepresent your actual abilities in job applications

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination.

Our Content: The platform, including its design, code, AI models, content, and branding, is owned by CareerInstructor and protected by intellectual property laws.

Your Content: You retain ownership of content you upload (resumes, messages). By using the platform, you grant us a limited license to process and analyze your content to provide our services.

AI-Generated Content: Content generated by our AI teachers (feedback, scores, roadmaps) is provided for your personal use. You may use AI-generated feedback in your career development but may not commercially redistribute it.

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

AI Limitations: Our AI teachers provide guidance and practice opportunities but are not a substitute for professional career counselors. AI-generated feedback and scores are estimates and should be used as learning tools, not absolute measures.

No Employment Guarantee: We do not guarantee job placements, interview success, or specific career outcomes. Results depend on individual effort and circumstances.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CareerInstructor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

By You: You may delete your account at any time through your profile settings or by contacting support.

By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms, with or without notice.

Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or platform notification at least 30 days before taking effect.

Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
